Chief of Staff
Jesse Purvis is a recent graduate from UMass Law. During his time at UMass, Jesse served as a Public Interest Law Fellow and founder of the school's local chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. Upon graduating Jesse received the Thurgood Marshall Award for Social Justice for his work on, and off, campus.
Jesse's interests include environmental justice, table tennis, hiking, technology and bicycles.
He currently lives in East Boston with his partner, Tanya Hahnel, their young daughter Ida Jean, and senior greyhound, Cary Grant. Jesse is thankful for his Boston community who have helped him put down roots as he navigates life as a new parent.
Charlestown Community Liaison
Director of Communications & East Boston Community Liaison
Ricardo Patron manages all constituent issues for East Boston. He attends neighborhood association meetings and other public meetings on behalf of Councilor Edwards and helps develop relationships between community members and the office. He serves on the boards of Maverick Landing Community Services, the North Suffolk Mental Health Association, and the Neighborhood of Affordable Housing (NOAH). Ricardo lives in East Boston with his wife Kathleen.
North End Community Liaison & Scheduler
Michael Bonetti is a life-long resident of the North End of Boston and is a recent graduate from Suffolk University with a Masters in the Science of Marketing. Since 2018, Michael has served as the North End constituent service liaison for Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards.
Michael is a leader in his community, serving on the North End/ Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) for two years, ministering as a Master of Liturgical Ceremonies for his local parish of Saint Leonard's, and serving on the Feast Committee for the annual St. Anthony's Feast.
